I liked what I saw. The freshman are studs. Less turnovers = wildcat victory.

No shame in lossing that game. UCLA is a real good team. UK can take a lot of positives out of that game. Atticus you are right, I think last years team gets killed by UCLA.

Way to young to play a top 5 team. I think we will be alright come con play. However, we need better play inside the paint.

I hate to be a downer, but if UCLA shoots any respectable percentage, we would have lost by 15+

 

Still we played fairly well, save the turnovers, and we have a lot of bright spots.

Midway thru the 1st half I thought we were watching a replay of the Kansas-Kentucky game last year but this years team fought back and made a game of it. No shame in losing to UCLA, they are a tough team. I'm looking forward to seeing how this team responds against Memphis tommorrow night.

Morris and Crawford looked good. Jasper looked great. Tough loss but this team will get better and our young Wildcats will be ready when it counts come conference and tourny time.
