March 19, 20197 yr How much time did he miss last season? 5 million just seems a little cheap for Cobb.
March 20, 20197 yr How much time did he miss last season? 5 million just seems a little cheap for Cobb. Didn't Cole Beasley just get $7-8MM per year? Unless Cobb is damaged goods, he is better than Beasley IMO...very cheap IMO...
March 20, 20197 yr Meh. Cobb has had 1 big season and 2 other decent seasons, none of which has come in the last 3 years. His other 5 years really haven’t been very good, even while playing with one of the top QB’s in the game. The Cowboys got him cheap, because he’s hurt a lot, and really not all that productive.
March 20, 20197 yr He hasn't played a lot of games in the last few years, probably why it isn't a bigger deal.
March 20, 20197 yr Cobb has had lingering hamstring issues, but is still only 28 years of age. If he can stay healthy this is a great replacement for Beasley.
March 20, 20197 yr Cobb has been on the decline since he made the Pro Bowl in 2014. He's a slight upgrade from Beasley, but not much. 2014 was his best year by far, and the exception rather than the rule.

Aside from the injuries, where I thought things went wrong for Cobb is that he was viewed as a #1 receiver in Green Bay. Don't be something you are not. He is a playmaker out of the slot.

At best, Cobb was the #2.
