Pura Vida Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 That game.....sigh.... Just knew it would happen, despite the 23 point lead. Shaking our collective Cardinal heads lol.
DragonFire Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Brutal. I mean, Duke is really good, so the loss was expected. But man alive, with a 23 point lead....
woodsrider Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 As bad as you will see a team play down the stretch.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Wow. UL was doing everything right for quite a while.
TheDeuce Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I’m not the least bit surprised. Louisville has failed to put teams away all season. That’s still a much better showing than I expected.
Hatz Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Interesting how both commenwealth teams lost. A review of feet on a line changes a foul called on the floor. A review can’t overturn basket interference because you can’t look at that, even at the buzzer. Geez.
ThrillVille Cardinal51 Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Inexcusable. You cannot be up 23 points and lose. That cannot happen.
hrcarrier Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 What a meltdown. It felt like a loss when it got down around the five minute mark.
Pura Vida Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 Cards were just soo bad down the stretch.
Getslow Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 It’s been pretty depressing to watch the absolute panic in the eyes of Louisville’s guards down the stretch in the last two games. Almost innumerable turnovers in moments with the game on the line.
hrcarrier Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Losing like this is far worse than an absolute beat down.
TheDeuce Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 It’s been pretty depressing to watch the absolute panic in the eyes of Louisville’s guards down the stretch in the last two games. Almost innumerable turnovers in moment so with the game on the line. They have panicked against every press they’ve faced all year. It’s clear they don’t practice against it.
DragonFire Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I steadfastly maintain that they should have been shooting a three on that last possession. Honestly, would it have even mattered if that shot had gone and they went to OT? Did they have a prayer at that point?
