GrantNKY Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 What a great NFC Championship game! I have a hard time calling anything great when you have such a blatantly missed call that likely would have changed the outcome. That can’t happen.
16thBBall Fan Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 This one is going to be discussed for a long time. It will be interesting to see how the NFL tries to spin this one.
nkuclubbaseball19 Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 The refs blew that one. Terrible no call late that would’ve ended the game.
gchs_uk9 Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 I have a hard time calling anything great when you have such a blatantly missed call that likely would have changed the outcome. That can’t happen. So the last two years the Saints were eliminated on the defensive back whiff against the Vikings and now the very questionable non-pass interference call against the Rams. Two very tough ways to lose.
Jumper_Dad Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Spin how ever they want...calls were missed both ways. Go Rams!!!
theguru Posted January 20, 2019 Author Posted January 20, 2019 I have a hard time calling anything great when you have such a blatantly missed call that likely would have changed the outcome. That can’t happen. I agree that was about as bad as it gets but overall it was a great and entertaining game.
futurecoach Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 That's why its nice to have a weapon as a kicker. Hopefully the Bengals take notes and draft the kicker from Utah. Congrats to Whitworth, Zac Taylor, and the Rams on going to the super bowl.
FSfan Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 And last week the Rams sacked Dak Prescott when he was in the grasp of his own teammate. Bad officiating makes too big a difference in these games.
Pura Vida Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Awesome ending! The best part about the OT is a short wait to the next game.
Voice of Reason Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Glad for Whitworth. Nice to see the Bengals new coach get Super Bowl experience. It will be hard for me to root for the Rams in the Super Bowl after that missed call.
16thBBall Fan Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Spin how ever they want...calls were missed both ways. Go Rams!!! You can be glad the Rams won but there is no way they would have even had a chance to win. Not sure what you are talking about calls both ways the Rams only had 3 penalties the who game.
GrantNKY Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 I agree that was about as bad as it gets but overall it was a great and entertaining game. Refs can ruin a game for me and they ruined this one.
