I agree, but no one thought Houston would beat Jacksonville, Detroit would beat Atlanta, Cleveland would beat Atlanta, Oakland would beat Pittsburgh, NYJ would beat NE, Miami would beat Chicago.....and on and on.

 

It happens almost every week.

 

The Bengals have also had a surprise win on the road at the end of every season since Marvin got here:

(every win at this point might be a surprise win...)

Going into tonight's game with Jacksonville, here stands the WC race picture.

 

1st WC is Denver's to lose at 7-3.

 

2nd WC

KC is the leader at 6-4.

Jacksonville can tie them tonight with a win over the Giants. 5-4

Bengals and the Jets are one game behind at 5-5.

A whole host of teams are just 2 games out with 6 to play including the Steelers.

 

Bengals do have the head-to-head advantage over KC and they play Denver next week. So a Giants victory tonight, a Broncos win next week and the Bengals are tied for the 2nd Wild Card spot.

Jacksonville sure helped themselves out tonight, but the Bengals still have a shot.

Jacksonville will get it. As long as the league doesn't change some rule and force them to play Houston from here on out. What is it with the Jags that makes them stink up the field vs. Houston? :lol:
