Usually happens when you give up 42 points in a HALF! I'm sure this will be the talk of the town this week(well actually no one will care b/c we have OSU/UM to play). Looks like Chuck may be the sacrificial lamb..........won't solve anything though IMO.

I don't even know what that means.......he doesn't show enough emotion on the sidelines? Ever watch Belichick? This is the NFL, not some H.S. game, you don't rant and rave up and down the sidelines yelling at players. As I said earlier, look at the games when the Bengals have been full strength. Look at KC this year, look at the first half of last year. The D played pretty darn well. There are no superstars on that side of the ball, and there is plenty of inexperience. What's funny is, odds are he'll get fired, a new face will come in and do well with the healthy version of the Bengals D. And then we'll look like geniuses.........:lol:

Have you seen drastic improvements on the D? When the D has been healthy has it not looked pretty decent? Especially considering the talent? It's not like we have the superstars on the defensive side that many teams do. I guess my question is, what adjustments would you have him make? I think he's fresh out of options at this point, considering all the injuries. You have guys that have no business playing, much less starting, out there, and it shows. I don't think anyone will debate that last year's D, before a couple of injuries, is much better than those of the Frazier or Lebeau era. So yes, there has been improvement. Unfortunately, there have also been a rash of injuries, last year the safeties, this year the LB's, that have really handcuffed the Bengals. Not to mention losing a #1 draft pick, possibly forever. What good would changing the coordinator do? You'd then have another period of reacclimating to the system, and retooling the personnell to fit that coordinators scheme, and by then the Bengals shot at a SB will have gone by. Look at the best defenses in the NFL, what do they all have in common? #1, stability. Same coordinator, virtually the same players for several years in a row. #2, superstar players. Julius Peppers, Ray Lewis, Urlacher, etc.
