Who was it that predicted a win streak? I can't remember and am too lazy to look through old threads to find it. I think that thought goes out the window... The Chargers are a VERY good football team and will be even better when they get Merriman back.

Cincinnati played very well, but just could not stop the Chargers in the 2nd half.

 

Very poor showing by the defense - 49 points is too many, especially when 35 of them are in the 2nd half.

 

The only real encouraging thing from today was the offense. It looked like Palmer & company got into a groove and hopefully that will continue into next week. If so, the Bengals will be alright.

Good season with what we had to work with on D. Losing 2 starting LB's not too mention our biggest playmaker killed us. We will be back...

Palmer and Chad were amazing.
