November 12, 200619 yr Who was it that predicted a win streak? I can't remember and am too lazy to look through old threads to find it. I think that thought goes out the window... The Chargers are a VERY good football team and will be even better when they get Merriman back. That was "Future Coach" Where is he at?
November 12, 200619 yr I have now officialy joined the rest of the bridge jumpers. Why is it guys like Mike Archer and Chuck Bresnahan have jobs, and Woody Woodenheifer does not?
November 12, 200619 yr Cincinnati played very well, but just could not stop the Chargers in the 2nd half. Very poor showing by the defense - 49 points is too many, especially when 35 of them are in the 2nd half. The only real encouraging thing from today was the offense. It looked like Palmer & company got into a groove and hopefully that will continue into next week. If so, the Bengals will be alright. Wasn't it 28-7 at half? SD had 35 in an amazing 15:20 during 2nd half. It would be hard to do that with no D on the field at all!
November 12, 200619 yr To try to draw some positives, the O Line played very well. Carson had good protection all day.
November 12, 200619 yr Man I gotta quit watching football. This whole weekend has been a bummer. You're not a Wildcat fan I take it.

November 12, 200619 yr What a JOKE!!!!!! The defensive guru needs to get a clue on how to play "D"..:madman: :madman: :madman:
November 12, 200619 yr Author To try to draw some positives, the O Line played very well. Carson had good protection all day. The first time in a month and a half he gets good protection and the defense decides to mail it in …
November 12, 200619 yr The Bengals and Steelers might have 14 wins combined. Who would have predicted that at the beginning of the season?
November 12, 200619 yr You know karma isn't in your corner when you blow a 21 point lead and the Ravens overcome a 19 point deficit to win on the same day.
