I was just doing the same ratio as the original offer. I can run for 15 minutes every day because I need the exercise. That gets me 90 minutes of electricity. I would pay for the rest!

Based on our most recent energy bill, the 12 hours would save my wife and I a grand total of $1.37. So we'd be saving roughly $0.68 per hour of running. No way, no how. :lol2:

Pretty much. It was $85.01 this past month. We kept it running at 72 the whole time (I'd prefer much lower, but I don't get to make those decisions. :lol2:).

 

It's a smaller house, and everything is electric which apparently makes it much cheaper than if it were gas.
