BGP QOTD: If you could run your entire household's electricity for 12 hours...

Featured Replies

I wouldn't. I'd just pay the bill like a normal human and go about my day. :lol2:

Never. :lol2:

Honest question, how many people can run for two straight hours without stopping?

I know a few on here can, but I'd bet the vast majority couldn't run for two hours.

Agree. I'd argue no "average" person can run for two straight hours.

Can I have 90 minutes of electricity for 15 minutes of running? Seems fair.

So you want to run +/- 1.5 miles every hour and a half to keep your power on?

Anyone want to do the math to figure out how much money you would actually save by doing this? That doesn’t even include the opportunity cost of those 2 hours.

Based on our most recent energy bill, the 12 hours would save my wife and I a grand total of $1.37. So we'd be saving roughly $0.68 per hour of running. No way, no how. :lol2:

:lol2: No chance.

I think the better question would be how much money would you have to save for you to run 2 hours consecutively?

Maybe a years worth of electricity. :lol2:

The ultimate question is, who could run for 2 hours consecutively anyway? I agree with Deuce...no average person is likely able to do it.
