So are you not a UK football fan? I would find it extremely hard to believe you were after you've made these ludacris comments. Couch put excitement in UK football. It sure wasn't Bill Curry that did it.

If you will go back and look I said NFL bust, I think he was a great College QB, just like Ty Detmer...

My mistake.

Or out scouted... Word to the wise, if Johnson Central signals plays in on either side of the ball they need to go to the wrist band or run the plays in this week.

Just this man's opinion.

I hate to burst your bubble on that theory but what Ashland has been saying about that whole 2nd half turnaround was not because of hand signals, I promise. Hand signals are not scouted and are not looked at for the millionith time.

3Wishes,

You watched the film from the Bell Co game last week. Let me ask you, in your honest opinion, was it pass interference?

I know this is the wrong thread, but I want to know what you have to say.

No, not IMO. Shawn Childress was going straight towards the ball and had a better chance at it than Bell's WR. Bell's WR was going across the field and got into the way of Childress's path of travel, therefore, leading me to beleive that it should of been offensive pass interference.

Exactly. I posted the same idea on the Bell thread. But you know how it is. They were convinced it was defensive.

I would expect no less from them, they were fighting for their lives at that point in the game. A pass interference call would've set them up good.

Was it a no call?

Oh no doubt. I don't blame them. I just don't like that they focused on the one play and not the two plays that could've went against them that wasn't called. (QB over the line of scrimmage, and Shawn's TD reception)

Was it a no call?

Yes, it was a no call. An incomplete pass. It was a bang-bang play and the officials thought it was a clean play. Shawn Childress was trying to intercept it and the WR hit him just as much as he hit the WR. At this point, Coach Hilton threw a tantrum on the sideline like I've never seen at a football game before. It was almost comical.

I've seen a lot of Bell County football games and each time I watch a close game between them and their opponent Hilton comes up with a new way to make me laugh. One year he made his way all the way over to the Rock's sideline fussing at a ref, never was a flag thrown, still amazed. He was seen on Sports OT pulling his shirt over his head and then last Friday he was on his hands and knees bowing about 3-4 times. His vertical has even been stated to be highers than SLushers at times.

Yes, he certainly is a character. I haven't watched as many Bell games as you, but I've seen enough. I, too, was amazed that there wasn't even a warning or anything. And to think, in the Bell thread, people accused us of getting help from the refs. I thought Bobby Knight was at Texas Tech coaching basketball. I didn't know he coached Bell football. That's what his performance reminded me of.

Well we can run this SOS into the ground if you would like, but the fact of the matter is the team that comes out and plays the best football is going to win. But if 4 more wins in your opponents overall record makes you feel superior, then have at it.:thumb:

This game in my opinion is going to be won on which team can limit their turnovers and make the big plays. We all know both teams posses some of the toughest defenses in the state and very well could nullify each others offense. JC has shown its ability to open up a legit passing game that will keep defenses honest. What kind of kicker does Rock have cause in close games as these field position can be a huge determining factor? Like I have stated earlier, JC's biggest hurdle in this game to overcome will be playoff experience which Rockcastle has had plenty of.

Johnson Central's field will be dry, so that wont be an issue.

Gonna go with Rock in a close one. no 2-0 or nothing but more like 14-13
