Great point. I think all you can do is love them, make sure they know they can always talk to you and as a father, model the way by treating all of the women in your life with respect. And even still...you just never know...

I am so sad to hear this has happened. Prayers for the victim, her family, and his family. Different prayers for his healing and survival of the living hell that appears in his future.

Now when everyone thinks about the 2018 CovCath State Championship Team, they won’t be known for Fredrick or Ruthaz, they will be known as the team Jake Walter, the (“alleged” for now) rapist played on. This tarnishes that team and school unfortunately.

Well said. Joe is a fine man, does so much good, and while I hope and pray that the victim is okay, I can't help but be sad for Joe as well. Now his kid on the other hand, not so much.

 

Also, and not for nothing, I don't think Joe Walter is sitting on this pile of money that some of you are claiming. I could be wrong, and I'm certainly not privy to his finances, but I don't believe that to be the case.
