Chargers 26 Bengals 21

Final tough loss on a day the Bengals I feel played probably their best all around game since early October and to have one of the worst calls I’ve seen. I actually thought when his knee hit down the tip of the ball broke the plane anyway definitely not enough to overturn the call on the field Tough loss and 5th in a row.

Feel for the players today, as they at least played with some heart. Genius Marvin chasing points early in the game & a bad call cost them a winnable game. Typical NFL "Trap Game" by Chargers. Most undisciplined team in the league reflects how poorly they prepare each week.

So sad to see a team so short in the in-game intellect needed to win in the NFL. Let's extensively celebrate our last TD and absorb critically needed time for our 2-pt conversion huddle/strategy. As play clock winds down, let's rush the most important play of game (2-pt to tie) and save our 2 timeouts. Finally, with 43 seconds left we get ball back and completely are disorganized and offensive guys across the board looked lost. Just an unprepared mess!

Obviously plenty to complain about in terms of Marvin's decisions. The offensive line averaging 5 penalties a game.

However the end of the day a bogus interpretation of a new NFL changed the whole dynamic of this game. If they dont take away that td, the Bengals are winning 27 to 23 with a minute 30 left.

The more I see Driskell the more I like his potential. He obviously needs to gain experience and looks like most guys look their rookie year with with how crisp he is. But man he fits the bill in terms of the new qb in the nfl today. Big, athletic, strong arm.

Makes me even more wish they would trade Dalton to get another draft pick, and save money. Let Driskell be the guy next year, because I think next years qb class is risky and you dont want to mess up. Let driskell start next year and see how he is with a healthy Green. If they suck, trade Green before the trade deadline. Let Driskell finish it out and draft a qb in the 2020 draft, which should be some real good qbs.

Better, but still a loss. Regardless of the horrible call on the TD, the Bengals should have won the game. Much better defensive effort.

Had their chances. Even after the horrible call. If they dont have a false start. Then if Marvin doesnt chase points in the 2nd quater.

Kicking the field goal that never should have been kicked with where they had the ball cost them today’s game. They don’t coach to win, you’re on the road against a hot Chargers team and do that, inexcusable.

And as far as hopeful change goes for the end of the season for a head coach goes, I wouldn’t be too optimistic with Hue Jackson being back, because something tells me it’s his job.

I may have forgotten about a penalty when it was close to the goal line that forced the field goal. On a better note, at least the defense played good.

If the Bengals don't fire Marvin Lewis at the end of the season then next year will set records for a lack of season ticket sales and attendance. That will also be reflected if Hue Jackson is named as his replacement. Enough.

It should if either happens, I still believe that will be the plan though. Nothing convinces me that Mike Brown will do anything differently at this point.
