Hot Seat Season (College Football)

Featured Replies

Besides the obvious (Bobby P.), which other coaches look to be on the hot seat?

Which young coaches besides the obvious (Brohm) are about to get a chance to rake in some serious cash and make a move up?

Hot Seat Season can be fun, as long your teams coach isn't on either list.

Depending on how things finish, including bowls, seats could start getting a little warmer for Franklin at Penn State and for Herman at Texas.

- Clay Helton

- Larry Fedora

- Chris Ash

- Gus Malzahn

How long has Herman been there? Seems like he just got there.

-Mike Sanford at WKU should be on the hot seat but I don't think WKU buys him out. WKU has a young team also so he will probably get a chance to come back and show improvement next year. Fan base is not pleased, though.

-Bobby Petrino at Louisville. Again, it's a buyout situation there. Fans seem to want to look at Jeff Brohm as a replacement.

-Willie Taggart. Only first year on the job but FSU does not like to have poor seasons. He has traditionally started slow at other gigs where he has had to rebuild but FSU is not the type of place that will be patient with a long, drawn out comeback.

I think Taggert will get two years but if he doesn’t win 10 games and/or loses to Clemson by 50 points next year, he’s as good as gone.

No way are Herman or Franklin on a hot or warm seat.

I’d bet anything Fedora is gone after the season. (UNC)

I would think Mason (Vanderbilt) Seat is a little hot too.

Mike Gundy isn’t going anywhere. The mullet can stay in Stillwater as long as he wants.

They aren't getting rid of Taggert this year. He'll get at least two seasons. If they stink again next year, he could be in trouble.

Why would Missouri want to make a change?
