I agree with you about the luster. I didn’t go watch it last year, but it’s seemed to over the past few seasons prior in comparison to before. The crowds weren’t nearly as big the last two or three games that I watched.

Since beating Beechwood 34-31 in 2013, Newport Catholic has not been within two scores of the Tigers.

Running clock. The Best thing for my Breds would be to come out injury free.

If NewCath can use the one-two punch of Miller and Cain to their advantage, and really drain the clock, they can keep the game closer than two scores hopefully. Their best bet is to keep the clock running, with the defense fresh, and off the field. Kremer would have to be efficient with the football in the passing game and the team as a whole will have to not turn the ball over.

 

All of this will be a very tall task against a very well run Beechwood team.
