CincySportsFan Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Ohio State DE Nick Bosa leaving school, looking to draft Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa has withdrawn from school to focus on his rehabilitation of an injured core muscle, the Buckeyes announced Tuesday. The All-American will now presumably turn his attention to the 2019 NFL draft. Completely understand his decision. As a Buckeye fan, I don't like it, but I understand it. They could've really used his help at the end of the year. Enjoyed watching him play. Does this injury keep him from being the #1 pick?
GrantNKY Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 100% the right decision. I had a gut feeling all along that we had seen Bosa play his last game in an Ohio State uniform. The only way he doesn’t go #1 is if someone wants a QB bad enough. You have to go get that money. Best of luck!

How many of his teammates legitimately have a goal of playing in the NFL? What about the goals of the other 75 kids? I'd be disappointed if one of the of the best players on my team abandoned ship when a Big 10/national championship is in sight. It has to have a negative effect on team morale. I don't see how it couldn't.

I don't see how it couldn't. You don’t understand the mindsight of 18-22 year old kids playing major college football. They all think they are making it to the NFL. That’s what every coach at every school has told them their whole life. They are all chasing the money. Just look at all of the recruiting propaganda that is put out by major schools now a days. It all talks about who they have put in the NFL not how many championships they have won. It’s why the same schools get all of the best players every single year. That’s just the way it is. Also the report is Bosa wouldn’t have been back until mid December anyways. So is 1-2 games worth missing out on millions of dollars? Hell no. His teammates were all congratulating him on Twitter today. No way this affects the locker room.

They will have an opportunity to play in the NFL. Same with Bama. And Clemson. And now Georgia. So, yeah...
