LSU 36 Georgia 16

Featured Replies

LSU pretty much manhandled them all day, impressive win for Coach O and his boys!

Domination by the Tigers.

Yep. Georgia was never really in it.

At least this pretty much eliminated the following scenario:

"Teams from only two power 5 conferences will make the playoffs - Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and one additional team" I heard quite a bit of that earlier this week.

Wow! Way to go Joey Burrow!

The ultimate game manager today...he did nothing stupid or exceptional. Did get a couple of tough 1st downs running, but missed several open receivers too. Did not turn it over and that's all they need once the running game kicked in the way the D played.

Georgia has some serious pressure on them. They play at the Swamp in two weeks and Florida has a bye this week.

I don't think this scenario can be completely eliminated. If UGA comes out of the next 3 weeks with dominate wins, which is possible, then they'd be right back into the picture. Plus, with LSU winning this one, they are right back into the hunt. A loss at a 5 and 1 Florida can't be written off as a bad thing. That's a tough environment to play in. Kentucky did it, but we don't know what UK is yet.

It's in Jacksonville, world's largest cocktail party.

Actually looked pretty bad down the stretch. Had two easy throws late that were as bad as you will see and should have been interceptions.

Never believed in the Georgia hype, so this game went like I thought.

They returned a lot of players from last years team, I wouldn’t call it hype. I think that LSU is just a lot better than people were assuming.

Georgia lost a ton of key players from last year.

Joe Burrow is a leader in every sense of the word. The Haskins/ Burrow National Championship dream is still alive and well. Go Bucks! Geaux Tigers!

Dawgs have O-line issues and Fromm might not be what everyone thought he was.
