October 7, 20187 yr I went back and watched it again if he had just went on and was tackled he would have fallen and picked up the first down but he went into a slide. Absolutely the worst play of the night for me is Wilson sliding down a yard and a half short of a first down in OT. The game is on the line there. You have to get that first down no matter what.
October 7, 20187 yr I agree. Wilson beat out Hoak because he can run and make plays. All he does is look to go down and run out of bounds. He never once took on a tackler. It looks like he’s afraid to throw it. His first instinct is to run and he’s not good enough to do that.

October 7, 20187 yr Author Well that sucked. We have Wilson two more years still after this. If he is going to be the guy the next two seasons, we will have to live with a lot of growing pains. However I am good with it and I do think by the time his career is done here. He will be a fan favorite we all love. No idea why you dont let Snell touch the ball there at the end. Sorry, I just don’t see this happening, decision making and accuracy are the two most important qualities of a QB and I just don’t see him ever having either one!!
October 7, 20187 yr Yes they turned the switch off. They were playing beast mode for the first 4 1&2 games then turned the switch off thinking they could just costs into a bowl game. A&M is very good and UK'a Denfense was lights out. Offense was horrible. Wilson is horrible. This loss is on Eddie Gran. Should have gave the ball to Snell on that 3rd down play. That’s a heck of a take. I’m not sure why anyone would think they have the ability to turn it on or off.

October 7, 20187 yr Sorry, I just don’t see this happening, decision making and accuracy are the two most important qualities of a QB and I just don’t see him ever having either one!! You may be right. But I also remember being on here back when Andre Woodson was a sophomore. Where his completion percentage was in the 50s and had only 6 touchdowns with 6 interceptions. No one thought he would be what he ended up becoming. Right now I think they have told Wilson since his turnover early this season. To be safe dont take chances and protect the ball. You could see tonight he was afraid to try to throw any ball that was a tight window. The more he gets experience. The more confident I see him getting.

Yeah, but Woodson wasn't afraid to throw the ball. Wilson clearly is afraid. Hell, he's even afraid to throw the ball away. This is why I say CJ Conrad has to get more touches. He'd open the middle of the field, especially since we don't have a true slot reciever.
October 7, 20187 yr CJ Conrad should have had 6 to 7 catches in this one for like 60 yards. They started out getting him the ball. What did he end up with? 3 receptions, 25 yards. Two of which were in the first quarter.
