Probably the most physical UK TEAM ON BOTH LINES since 1977, this team just physically beat us up last year, they had 1 drive tonight!!!

As an outside observer, I believe that UK fans should be more optimistic about the rest of the season going forward, they have definitely proven that they are good after tonight. I definitely understand with a lot of seasons of challenge and frustration, but you all have plenty of reason to be pumped.

#21? Wildcats, getting Georgia’s attention.

Nice win but not a chance in you know what of them beating Georgia.

Can not have a let down next week. South Carolina is not bad.

I have never seen or heard a more insane crowd then what i saw tonight at Kroger Field. I swear when UK had that interception the stadium shook and it got bone rattling loud. What a game for Kentucky. I think this proves they are very much for real.

I've haven't been as happy to lose a 5pt. bgp contest pic in my life ! Wow, what a complete Team win. Both O & D LOS Deserve game balls for this one. I thought that the MSU experience on both offense (especially qb) and defense would wear U.K. down. Was basically the opposite.

Snell, Allen and as I mentioned earlier, both lines stood out !

I gotta find me some blue Kool-Aid, I ran out during this one.

PARTY Like it's 1977 !

Call and invite "Curci's Convicts" !

I was 19, attending a U.K. community college in '77 and yes, there's a good chance I would be found partying a lot back then. Crank up some Eagles, Doobie Bros. and 3 Dog Night :lol2:

(BTW … Should any of our younger posters not know the connections of U.K. Football and / or who "Curci's Convicts" were … they're not a band. Ask your parents or possibly grandparent.:D)

Best UK team I've ever seen. 1977 defense was awesome and Ramsey running the power bone did just enough to score points and break the will of other teams.

This team looks like the real deal. Could be on par with '77 eventually. My only concern is can they win if they have to throw the ball? If they are close or ahead in the 4th quarter, they have shown they can wear teams down and just pound it, plus not make that bonehead turnover, penalty or awful play.

This was the first UK football game I have been to in years. The stadium was rocking.

Man was that game fun or what! Go Cats! So physical up front all night long!

Last nights game certainly changed my perception of the team by a great deal. Very impressed with their performance.

Just a fantastic win. Benny Snell is an absolute stud. He’s one of the top 3-4 running backs in the country. He plays with an edge that only elite running backs play with. I’m excited to see where this team goes. Long season, but this week will be the first time UK is ranked in a long time. Respect is earned not given.
