Vikings 29 Packers 29 (OT)

Featured Replies

Final. Another tie poor Vikings rooming kicker misses a 35 yardarm for the win also missed a 46 yard one as well in OT.

Exciting game....many twists and turns.

Fun game to watch. I can’t believe he missed that last kick.

No game should end in a tie.

Americans will never embrace a sport that can end in a tie.

Packers should have won. Matthews hits Cousins as he throws an interception. Stripes calls roughing the passer and his head was to the side and hit him right in the mid section. These are getting out of control.

Agree. Not sure how that was roughing the passer.

And a tie, that’s ridiculous.

Ties are annoying.

Bad call.

I just watched the Clay Matthews penalty. That is awful. The ref said he “lifted him up and drove him to the ground.” I didn’t see that anywhere in the video. Just brutal officiating at a pivotal point of the game.

Minnesota had one called on Eric Kendricks, earlier in the game, that was as bad.

I believe the statement was made in a sarcastic tone, to rebuff one of the frequent reasons given as to why soccer will never be popular in the US. But I can't speak for Getslow, that is just my take.

I watched this play several times and Cousins one leg just barely comes off the ground. Where does that lift come from?

No sarcasm.

I was stating that ties are already widely accepted by Americans, just looking at the popularity of soccer...particularly youth soccer.
