Final

Go Redhounds!

Wonder if this will unseat the Tigers as the #1 team in 1A and Pikeville is shutting out Paintsville.

Potential costly win as Corbin may have lost their top WR Christian Gosselin for some extended time.

I don't think so, no shame in losing to a highly ranked 3A team, they are firmly in the drivers seat for 1A.

Congrats Corbin!

The Redhounds return the favor!

This has been a good series. Each team wins by one touchdown on their home field. Beechwood needs to get more out of their offense to win these games against top level teams. Good experience tonight for the new offensive players. The Tigers got better tonight even though they lost.

Nice!

I have never seen a refereeing crew who huddled up for 5 minutes after every flag they threw. It was insane how long it took for them to make a call! There were definitely some interesting calls on both sides. Castleman’s hitting a defenseless receiver was a joke and is what probably gave the game to Corbin. That was a huge call on 4th down.. Horrible!!

There were a ton of Beechwood kids cramping up throughout the game also..

This is what I saw. I’m not saying it’s a penalty but Refs thought so. Ball was thrown high and receiver was stretched out reaching for ball and his head was jerked forward. I don’t think it was catchable ball but why did defender target receivers head?

The kid is a player and will be a stud as he matures.

First off the ball tipped off his finger tips and Logan hit him in the back not the head...

Yes he will be. Once he gets a little more comfortable and sees the field and his receivers better, he and Beechwood’s offense will take off. He has the physical abilities and is a very good athlete.
