The thread starter this year, or the thread starter on the referee controversy in Corbin last year?

 

The point is - threads like that don't get started out of the blue. There is a reason for it. There have been enough official issues in the past that it was a legitimate question before the game and after.

 

 

This years thread starter is who I was referring to. Every region has its reputation for homer calls and NKY is not immune IMO.

There weren't a few calls in the game that went against Corbin that I didn't like, such as the illegal formation called against the QB who was under the center that brought back a TD or the illegal substitution that wiped out a 1st down late or the leaping the defender unsportsmanlike penalty, but it doesn't necessarily mean the calls were wrong.:sssh: I'm sure the Beechwood fans feel the same way, so no matter what someone is going to be complaining. Officiating looks like a pretty difficult job to me.:idunno:

I only listen to the game. The problem I had with the officiating was that they were take too long talking it over after every flag. If it is a penalty, call it and get on with the game. it should not take 2 minutes to make the call.
