Thinking about buying a new one. Does anyone have any opinions or insights about one or the other? We are looking at the models next up from their base models. We have test-driven each and got pricing from the two dealers. It is a tough call for us right now. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

My Buddy’s ex drove a Honda CR-V, and she was a total witch(with a capital B).

 

My dad drives a Rav-4, and he’s a good guy.

Also, the Rav-4 was a beast when I took it off road during deer season last year.

Personally I like the Rav 4 better. I’m not sure there is much difference though. Both will last a long time.

No.

I've had a CRV since June of 2013. The only maintenance I've had to do is change the tires, oil, and flush the transmission fluid. Haven't even had to change the brakes out. It has 65,000 miles on it. It's been extremely, extremely reliable. I'd bet a Toyota would be similar. Go with whichever one you think looks the best.

In all seriousness, as long as you do the maintenance, they will go forever.

We are currently on our second CRV . Can`t say enough about their reliability. I`ve also owned a couple Civics that just seem to run forever. I`m sold on Hondas.

CR-V. I own 2 of them and they are good vehicles.

Can’t go wrong. We just bought a Sienna and it’s only competition was the Oddyssey.

My mom has a Rav-4 and I really love it. I love the feel of driving it. A friend has a CR-V, and while there's nothing wrong with it, I feel like it's not as "sturdy" as the Rav-4.

Before you decide I would look very closely at the Hyundai Tucson. My mom is on her 2nd one and loves it, 2017 AWD. She also had a crv a while back and much prefers the Hyundai. I also own a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and really like it, I have become a fan of Hyundai.
