Spader got the BGHS AD job in June, less than nine months ago. Will he be able to do both, or will he have to give up AD?

Not too sure. I’d say that is a decision he and BGHS leadership will have to make. I imagine they’ll let him try to do both if he wants to.

I can assure you that not one person that has commented is right about the conversations at BG and you don’t contact coaches. They inquire then decide whether to apply or not. If you don’t want your school knowing you are interested you inquire through a third party. Just how it works.

Interviews going on now. National Search was made. Will probably have it nailed down within 10 days. I still believe next coach is already in the building.

I have heard locally that they talked to Haddix but that he decided he didn't want to leave Corbin right now. I didn't hear it from the horses mouth though, so he may still be in the running.

Can’t say I blame him. So much talk about the job being Spader’s job I’d probably stay put also.

I am disappointed posters... seven pages of a thread and not one mention of Chuck Smith??? Back in the old days, we would have have had 10 Chuck Smith jokes by now about how he could coach Boyle County with one arm and take the Bowling Green job with the other arm.
