Chris Mazdzer just brought home the first ever USA men's single luge ever. He won the silver.

I‘ve always been fancinated with the courage and skill it takes to complete a luge run. Laying on one’s back speeding down that curvy track. Whew! One mistake in a curve and it’s not a pretty ending. Of course, that could also be said about many of these Winter Olympic events such as down hill skiing, ski jumping, bobsledding, etc. Having the skill to do it is one thing but having the nerve and courage to do it is another element.
