brooksville Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Are their any schools with High School numbers that have been permantly retired? Meaning they can never be worn again? Also what is your opinion on high school numbers being retired?
Metcalfe2010 Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 JP Blevins number should be retired at Metcalfe IMO
brooksville Posted January 25, 2018 Author Posted January 25, 2018 We talking strictly basketball? Yes. Mostly because there are only 38 basketball numbers you can wear, while there are 101 football/baseball numbers.
P_G Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Yes. Mostly because there are only 32 basketball numbers you can wear, while there are 101 football/baseball numbers. How long has the number restriction been in effect?
sweet16 Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Yes. Mostly because there are only 38 basketball numbers you can wear, while there are 101 football/baseball numbers. 38? I’m coming up with 37.

Sportsaholic Mamaw Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 That’s 37 Guess you can tell Mrs. McGee isn't head of the Math Department at BCHS anymore.
LCDAWGS19 Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Guess you can tell Mrs. McGee isn't head of the Math Department at BCHS anymore. I loved Mrs. McGee!
Sportsaholic Mamaw Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 I loved Mrs. McGee! Me, too. I didn't have her for Math but she was good friends with my older sister and she would spend nights at our house. The boys both had her and it really mattered that she prepared them well for their careers. She's doing really well and works with a group of ladies each week organizing some of the oldest court records in Kentucky. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. Mrs. McGee was worth it.
