No classification changes take place until the Fall of 2019. Scott County and Frederick Douglass will both remain in 6A for the 2018 season.

That would have things falling out like this. August 17th seemed awfully early for a first football game of the season, but after running the dates through, that would have the first week of playoffs starting on the first Friday of November.

For reference, in 2017 CalPreps would have had Indianapolis Chatard rated 14th in Kentucky (behind Corbin and ahead of Louisville Butler), SFD would have rated 7th in Kentucky (behind Scott County and ahead of Louisville Male), and Kings would have rated 31st in Kentucky (behind Christian County and ahead of Campbell County).

 

With trips to Lexington, Columbus, and Indianapolis on the docket this fall, I like the schedule.

Your are correct. Jack is around 215. And last time I saw Mayer I would guess him around 230-235.

You have no clue...their pipeline from this fall’s frosh season is stacked. With Eddie running the show...I think they will be just fine.

They're first on my list going into the season. Have to wait and see how they and a couple other teams come out of the off season.

Last year was unusual but many two way players. That shows you don’t have to have 22 studs to win. Some contributing sophomores last year and a great freshman team last year bode pretty well for two years out.

If you watch St. Thomas Aquinas and other Florida schools, they have players play both ways quite a bit. They aren't true "Ironmen" but they are in rotations on other side of the ball. True platooning in high school is overrated.
