I've felt for quite a few weeks now that Boyle was the best 3A team. I think Corbin will need some takeaways to pull off a win.

I've mulled it over long enough, playing this game several times in my head. I've watched Corbin practice twice this week; the game plan looks very narrowly tailored to account for Boyle's strengths.

 

Boyle thrives on turnovers, +36 on the season. Seems like short fields is likely a norm. Corbin is stingy with the football; has excelled at not putting their defense with their backs against the wall. Corbin maintains the line of scrimmage, does not let Boyle wear down their defense with long sustained drives, and plays turnover free....

I feel guilty about going to the games this weekend because I haven't been to a single game since last year, but I am going nonetheless........
