I think I heard that Danville will practice that morning and fans are invited to come watch from the hill.

It sounds like Collins does something very similar to Trinity. This is the fourth time Collins will host their Thanksgiving morning practice in 8 seasons.

This is my favorite thread, every year... I love to hear all the different traditions that teams have for Thanksgiving practices.

HHS always had normal pregame practices when I was there which are on Thursday nights (Coach Mueller stuck to the formula). I am not sure what BW would do now if he makes it to that point.

I think it’s a pretty awesome tradition if your team is fortunate enough to be able to be playing this late in the season!

For Boyle, Coach Smith has extended an invitation to all former players to come and watch the Thanksgiving morning practice. Should be a memorable occasion.

Hats off to those programs that can call Thanksgiving Day practice a tradition.

 

You’ve set a very high bar.

Yes, Danville practices that morning and as always, everyone is welcome to come watch. Then they are served various breakfast casseroles after practice. It's a great tradition for the boys (and the families)!

Beechwood also practices in the morning. That is followed by breakfast for the team and all the fans who are there to watch.

 

Maybe my two favorite days of the year. Talking with Tigers fans as we watch the morning practice follow by brunch with the team. Thanksgiving dinner with family. Leftovers and more family on Friday and the game. I really enjoy these two days. Thank you to the Tigers players and coaches for all the success that makes these two days an annual happening in Ft. Mitchell.

We haven’t done it yet, but always a goal to practice on Thanksgiving!

Elizabethtown is getting ready to practice on Thanksgiving for the 3rd year in a row! Morning practice so players can spend the rest of the day with their families. Such an awesome accomplishment for those boys to be practicing that day.
