John Rodenberg is out at Moeller (OH)

For one play, Pay.... Eviston was making around 45 at GC and that doubled when he went to CC, and he got to run his own show

Was he head coach at Georgetown? $45K seems awfully small, if he was. $90K seems huge for HC role at CC. Must have multiple other fulltime responsibilities.

Roncalli is 4A in Indiana. 6A is the biggest classification.

  • " Through These Doors Walk The Men of Moeller"........that's for you Guru

  • Rody took over at Roncalli High in Indy this past February and just won them their 10th Indiana D1 title last month. Now he has coached for state titles in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana.

Rodenburg did not go straight from CovCath to Moeller.

And he won two state titles? How was Moeller before that in that 1985 to 2010 period? A state final trip in ‘97 I think was it.

Moeller will announce their new head coach today at a 3:15 press conference at the school....for anyone that cares.

Heard it will be a coach coming from a D1 college.

Come on now. Covington Catholic was awfully good but I wouldn't call them a D1 college.

Right...lol

Moeller would have beat Covcath by 3 touchdowns this season and if they had their starter at QB before he hurt his leg, they may have even running clocked them.

What are you talking about?

Who said anything about the two of them playing?

I am saying CCH is a better job than Moeller and there is no question in my mind that is true.

A Moeller alum comes home...sort of...

KENWOOD - The administrators at Moeller High School didn’t have to look any further than their own backyard in choosing the school’s next football coach. Doug Rosfeld, one of the 1996 captains of the Crusaders and a former offensive line coach under Bob Crable and John Rodenberg literally lives behind the school.

Not sure how you come up with this (other than the fact Moeller beat Scott County), but CalPreps shows a hypothetical 2017 match-up as a CovCath win:

neutral field

[2017] Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) 35, [2017] Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH) 21

Thank you and I agree.

Eviston is making 90k?

If they aren't they better get on the Ball. Someone else might step in and Pony up. When Bob Sphire left LexCath for North Gwinnett Ga his Salary jumped to 6 Figures overnight. Don't think that there aren't schools out there that don't find the Money. It happens more than people think.

Those schools are not in Kentucky.

You're right! They are in Georgia.:thumb:
