Unless they were fired first and there was no reason for anyone with a camera to be filming the MB. I'm sure they wouldn't really have heard the shots that much since everyone initially thought out was something other than shots.

Why would the FBI not want to identify it as ISIS inspired if it were so? If it was identified as foreign terrorism influenced it would beef up their budget come appropriations time, it would keep the war on terror alive and being funded, and it would help the military industry to continue to produce.

 

Don't see a reason for this administration and/or the FBI to not want to blame it on foreign terrorism.

Heard a little back door criticism about time response this morning. But in a real world event (which this was), the idea of immediately getting info of a shooter out of a hotel security situation, to local law enforcement and then to the boots on the ground takes a while. It's not instant. :no:

For someone who was allegedly a smart man, he must have been uneducated in how those tanks are built. You're not going to puncture multiple hulls of thick steel with a .223 or .308 round at that distance. Even if you managed to, you're chances of actually igniting the tank is between slim and none. Much closer to none in my opinion, unless it was a nearly empty tank. For instance, if you have a metal gas can you don't care to ruin, and a couple of extra dollars for fuel, fill up the can and shoot it, it's simply going to start leaking fuel.

I don't believe it has been confirmed. There is plenty of speculation on it from the media and I believe the police confirmed that the outer wall of tanks had been punctured. I'm not sure how close the tanks were to the concert, but I would imagine they were far enough away that they wouldn't have been punctured without being fired at.

 

But again, who know's. It took the police days to confirm that a vehicle they were looking for that he owned was actually in the garage of one of his residences that they had already searched. :ohbrother:

The tanks are about 1000 yards from the hotel (about 2x the distance of the venue) and are on an angle that would take shots behind the stage of the venue from MB so the single shots going over the peoples heads before the automatic was noticeable in one of the key videos were not directed at the tanks.

Right, we have become desensitized to all of the gun violence. Everyone sends prayers and posts on Facebook their disdain for guns, etc. Then they move on with their lives. Until it actually affects their own lives nobody will make a movement to do anything.

 

Both shooters the Vegas and Tx Church Shooters were athiest. The more this country becomes a God-less country the more you will see these mass shootings. These people have ZERO regard for lives both young and old.

I didn't think they released the amount of rounds fired in Texas, only the amount of empty magazines they recovered. I'm sure he probably had them full but you never know.
