Tennessee 42 Georgia Tech 41 (2OT)

GT made the right call going for two, IMO. Although I don't think UT was ever going to keep them out of the end zone.

The last part is why I don't go for 2. Sure the GT D was struggling late, but UT had no answer for the triple option all night. Kick the PAT and keep trading blows...

After thinking about it, they should have just waited. They had to go for two the next OT anyway.

Yep. Don't go for 2 until they make you.

Just no need to make it a one play game at that point...

Dumb decision to go for two because they lost. I love seeing Paul Johnson look like a tool though

If Tech could kick field goals, this game never goes to OT.

Gotta love the way the Tenn team kept fighting.

UT had NO answer for the triple option. none.

I loved the decision, even though it did not pan out.

Any football coach, when given the opportunity to gain three yards on a play to win a football game, who wouldn't take the shot, should probably not be a football coach.

Especially considering the way they were gashing Tennessee on every series.

Thoughts from Nachos:

1. Tennessee is overrated and Butch Jones won't be the coach in 2018.

2. Whenever I see GT playing on TV, I immediately stop what I'm doing. Their offense mesmerizes me.

3. I'm shocked the Vols pulled this one out. GT dominated them and beat themselves.

4. GT has 535 yards rushing and still loses? Wow.

5. This was one heckuva game to watch.

Jajuan Jennings is out for 12 weeks

6. It's stupid to schedule a game vs. Georgia Tech when you don't have to

Glad I turned this one off after the missed FG at the end of regulation. Hate watching that school win. As for GT, no idea what that defense was doing the second half. You had one job....couldn't have been tired since the O held the ball most of the game.
