Just the facts please. I'll listen to the radio if I want play-by-play. Being a Homer is expected, but no need to be excessive. Finally, it's not open mic night at the comedy club, there is no need to try to show everyone how funny you can be.

I can't stand the ones who use 20 words to say what can be said in about 7.

Really tired of the "Willie Nelson just died" joke by the Graves County PA guy. I've been there twice in four years and he's done it both times. I guess that's an every game thing. Not funny and unnecessary.

Let the game atmosphere and environment work for itself. If the crowd is 200 people and the game is dull as a Waffle House knife, so be it. If the crowd is packed to the gills and the game has a charged feel to it, so be it. No need for the PA guy to try and "hype" what is alreaady really good or "help" what is already really bad. In fact , to do so is flat out annoying.

SK has a good PA guy calls a pretty good game.

Just the facts in an even, professional tone. Cheerleader PA announcers are bush-league.

There's generally a radio crew present for a reason.

Caldwell Co. guy is about as bad as I have ever heard.

Facts, only the facts, nothing but the facts so help me God....lol. DeSales PA is just that kind of guy.

I think a mix is fine, I have no problem with the home PA guy being a bit of a homer. What I hate is the PA guy that does "Play by Play" as the play is happening...that guy kills me.

And while we're on the subject how about at least trying to learn how to pronounce names correctly. Look at a roster and if you see a name you aren't sure how to say, ask someone.

Before I switched to the radio side, I did PA. My rule was pump it up for the home squad during starting lineups, but during the game, try and keep it even...maybe a slight change in tone.

Just the facts....I have to bring ear plugs to the Male game....Glad I'm not the only one who gets annoyed by homer PA
