It's a little surprising when you consider that these two teams have each beaten Manual by a TD or less this season and then Central wins this one by 28. The Jackets haven't missed a beat on defense despite losing Coach Scroggins, one of the top defensive coaches in the state.

 

I don't think this result means that Fern Creek isn't very good, but rather that Central is still extremely talented and well coached. Perhaps even more so than we already thought.

And Central has a brand new HC. The Tigers may have been reading their own press clippings.

FC looked bad on offense all night. Never got anything going at all. Central didn't look that great either for most of the first half, but they made the plays they needed to extend the lead.

Thought Central would pull through, but not by four scores. Any more details?

This result is a real shocker to me. Yellowjackets must be for real.

Depending on how Belfry fares tonight I would be inclined to say that Central may deserve to be ahead of them based on their win over Manual and now this VERY impressive win.
