So do I read that that only 8 coaches voted?

That sounds about right for what I've come to understand about voting (or lack thereof) in coaches' polls.

I have Beechwood above HHS and until Brossart beats good teams not a chance they are above Cooper and or Dixie. They are only in that spot cause of records.

I agree with both of your points.

I feel like the Birds are a little high. I guess record is the first factor which makes sense. Scott seems a little low too.

Agree that Highlands is a tad high and should be behind Beechwood. Not much room for Scott to move up from 9 since NCC is 7 and I think that is accurate. Dixie and Cooper much better than Brossart. How can Holy Cross with two running clocks against them in first half still get 3 votes?

Forgot to mention that Lloyd is better than Brossart at 10 and Ludlow and Holy Cross and Walton Verona might be also.

Looks about right. I'd put Ludlow in the ten spot based on what's been done so far.

Ryle should be a 9 or 10 Walton should get more respect. Highlands too high. NewCath should be a 5 or 6.

Let's all put our own top ten in here and see how they compare. Here is mine:

1. Simon Kenton (toss up at #1)

2. Covington Catholic

3. Beechwood

4. Highlands

5. Campbell County

6. Ryle

7. Newport Catholic

8. Conner

9. Scott

10. Lloyd

11. Walton-Verona

12. Cooper

13. Dixie Heights

14. Boone County

15. Brossart

We have taken a step back made changes and revamped some things. I have a hard time believing that Highlands and Beechwood can beat us.

Yeah right.

Looking forward to seeing the impact of those changes on the field. My ranking is based on what I've seen so far this year on the field.
