Trash is not a kind or gentle word little man. You should take care about the type of adjectives you use.

No one was more surprised to find ourselves ranked Number 10 than we were.

 

This is something we had no control over, but were honored to be held is such high esteem.

 

Right now there are several Class 1-A teams that I think could be included in a single basket with Brossart being one of them. Others would be Belleuve, who defeated our Mustangs earlier this evening. Ludlow certainly fits in this category.

In what I will refer to "10th Region" teams, which are not part of the NoKy polls, but will have to sort themselves out as the season progresses, would be Nicholas County, who beat Bellevue on opening night in OT. Paris would throw their hat in the ring, and Bracken County, who lost to Ludlow a week ago is certainly in the mix.

Leave SK out of this. I don't believe that your friend there speaks for or has anything to do with SK. Ryle is not very good right now so we will see how things shake out but I do agree. "Trash" is a very strong word that shouldn't be used to describe a bunch of high school kids playing football. You can attack the poster but leave the kids and teams out of it.

Are you sure that poster is a Beechwood fan? That post itself doesn't necessarily mean it is a Beechwood fan.

There's a HUGE chance any team in N.Ky is above Cooper. It's difficult to watch the Cooper Jrs & Srs. have such a rough season. Their moral is down, their effort being questioned, not seen any positive results from this team. They seem to be moving in the wrong direction quickly & hope things can get turned around quickly.

Walton Verona should replace Cooper for Wk #3.

Down year? Compared to what last year when they went undeafeated? Ryle is an 8-2 or 7-3 team this year.

Why do you say that? Based on what? They won 7-0 last night and didn't even score til late in the game against a 2a opponent. I'm not knocking them, but why would you clearly place them 3? On what bases?

It will play itself out. Right now Beechwood has a long way to go. The offense through 2 games has been pretty stagnant and too predictable. The line blocking has not been great so far either. The defense has been okay but they have some weaknesses that good team will exploit. I fear the huge receivers for Cov Cath are going to present a big problem for our small DB's. The need to tighten up quickly with three of next 4 against Corbin, Cov Cath and Simon Kenton.

I get your logic but comparing scores can be misleading. We have only played corbin on middle school basis and we have never had a competitive game. They may be good for 1a varsity wise but thats about it. We would get nothing out of playing them. I hope Beechwood repeats but I really would not commit to putting a good 1a squad over Ryle at this point.

 

Dude their not good they are State Champs with Multiple Div 1 prospects. Your problem is your going off the 1a Tag. Most of those guys easily start at any bigger school program in NKY. This is not your average 1A Team. So your logic is flawed.
