July 25, 20179 yr The Titans? come on man. The most overrated team in the NFL right now. They were probably the luckiest team in the NFL last year. Their O-line is really good but their defense is in the bottom 1/3 of the league. You dont win 12 games with an offensive line.
July 25, 20179 yr The Vegas O/U is 8.5, I could see them falling between 5 and 8.5. I can see between 8 and 9 wins.
July 25, 20179 yr I can see between 8 and 9 wins. Well, since Vegas' line is at 8.5, that's a pretty sturdy limb you're on.
July 25, 20179 yr Well, since Vegas' line is at 8.5, that's a pretty sturdy limb you're on. I figure Vegas is pretty smart and I trust them more than USA today.
July 25, 20179 yr I think 7-9 is worst case scenario, and 12-4 is best. 9-7 seems most likely to me. 5-11 seems odd, to be honest.

I am with futurecoach, it all comes down to the offensive tackles performing and the team as a whole staying healthy. Another thing I think is under the radar, if Billings steps up at DT and stops the run like we think he can, the combination of him and Atkins will make running on the Bengals D tough sledding.
July 25, 20179 yr If key players stay healthy (Dalton, Green, Eifert, Burfict, Atkins, and Dunap) then I think 9-11 wins.
July 26, 20179 yr I figure Vegas is pretty smart and I trust them more than USA today. If they go 8-7-1 I'll buy you a steak!
July 27, 20179 yr First 2 weeks are the key to the season. 2-0 and Bengals will be fine. 1-1 and it will be one of those .500 are they in/ are they out/ they need help kind of years. 0-2 and we will be lining up who we think we will get with that high draft pick.
July 27, 20179 yr JUST WIN A PLAYOFF GAME PLEASE...!!!:lol2: I agree with 9-7 +/- a game based on overall health. And I'll predict they break whatever the most sacks given up in a season record was. Unless Dalton can master the 2 step drop!
July 28, 20179 yr Start with Baltimore without Pacman. Short week then the #1 defense in the league. Then off to GreenBay. I can see why some prognosticators got to that conclusion. Frankly, if that start is 0-3, I still can't see how they only win 5 barring some injuries there. That schedule after the start isn't that daunting, IMO. The Bengals typically do well against Baltimore. Baltimore doesn't have the best wr options. So if he is going to miss a game, I rather it be against a team with not many threats at wr. Houston is tough, but they still have no qb. Plus the bad Bengals team last year with everyone hurt had Houston beat in Houston the second to last game of the year before Bullock shanked the game winner. Green Bay is tough but I believe it's been over 12 years since Green Bay beat the Bengals. The Bengals won the last 3 and Rodgers is 0 and 2 against then. I most likely just jinxed them though because obviously the past means nothing for this year.
