I always walk past to check it out but its rare I see anything in there I haven't had before. Felt like I hit the jackpot when they had four different Golden Roads when they start distributing around here. One thing you can thanks InBev for.

 

I'm at that point myself, but had good fortune yesterday. They had all 4 of the new Sam Adams beers found in their summer sample pack. Love that I can try all 4 of them without having to buy the whole 12 pack. Plus I found a stout from Ballast Point. Rounded it out with a Blue Moon summer honey wheat, just cause it's been a couple of years since I had one.

I second the motion on Amazon Prime, it is terrific. Additionally, you get a very nice music application where you can play unedited versions of songs and you have access to most music. Movies too if it is your thing.

 

We have a new Super Kroger opening next to me too, if their call ahead service works for me I will do it too and use a combination of Prime, Kroger Pickup, and of course in store shopping because like my man Jim I pick out my own produce.

I do mine through Walmart and they are awesome with it. Haven't tried Kroger and probably won't

Probably just Lex, Lou and NKy (Maybe BG too). But they do have a pretty lengthy delivery radius. Here in NKy, traffic congestion is progressing rapidly, as this area continues to grow and expand. I hate just driving to downtown Cincy. and I'm only 9 miles away!

 

They have had it in Bardstown for the past 2-3 months. Oops, sorry, that's at our Kroger. Don't know about Amazon.

Absolutely. They're the ones who also went and picked everything out for you.

The other thing is I rarely buy meat from Kroger other than sale items like sausage and smoked sausage and brats and that sort of thing. We're blessed to have a great butcher shop in Bardstown (Boone's) which is where I get all my steaks, pork chops and other BBQ items.

I know this kind of shopping is the way of the future, but I am old fashioned. I like walking through grocery stores, looking for something new to try. Like Jim, I want to pick out my produce and meat as well.

 

I can definitely see the advantage though. If you know exactly what you want, it would make stopping by the grocery store after work so much quicker and easier.

 

I assume you can still use coupons. How much should you tip the person who shops and brings the food out to you?

We had been using it for awhile. I mentioned it to a dear friend who has a wheelchair bound severely handicapped child. She tried it. Game changer.

Mrs. S tried the new Publix shop and delivery service. Between the service fee ($16.75), delivery fee ($10.00, though it was free for the first order.), and delays, it's not worth it. She placed her order at 1 this afternoon. It was suppose to get here between 3 and 3:30. It just now was delivered (7 PM).

Hope you didn’t have a lot of milk, frozen foods etc. delivered. You never know.

Everything was cold that was supposed to be cold. Even the roast beef sub she ordered from the deli. She's checking out the produce, now.

The produce was good, but she just got onions, potatoes, spaghetti squash, cabbage, and apples.

I go to the Kroger off Westport Rd in St. Matthews, and the Clicklist parking lanes tick me off, because they took up 12 prime parking spaces in the lot to put in 6 parking lanes, and I've never seen more than 2 cars sitting in them at any one time.

Is that any different than Walmart having 30 check lanes but only open 2 of them?
