April 20, 20179 yr My concern is the general dishonesty that I feel for main stream media. I believe that most Americans agree that they have no credibility anymore. The gathering of information is much more difficult these days. Mistakes have always been made, however misinformation is now being reported intentionally. Sad really.
April 20, 20179 yr FOX News is the most watched news channel. Are they slobbering and dishonest? Are they part of msm?
April 20, 20179 yr I've been pretty consistent on media over the years here on BGP. If you don't like slobbering change the channel. You'll find someone going hard the other way. They're in business to make a buck. They make a buck with an audience. There are people that want to hear what they already believe so they watch a particular channel. Nothing new. Not unique to this President. You sound like a politician. Post a rant and never answer the question.
April 20, 20179 yr Unfounded based upon what? Clintons team, husband, herself all did business, profited from Russia. Facts in the open. They have not found anything on President Trump in the way of collusion. The investigation and spying was based off a made up dossier that has been debunked as fabricated. That's the evidence?
April 20, 20179 yr I feel that the News Media has been looking to "make history" every since the success of the Washington Post's investigation of CREEP and Nixon. Helping to bring down a corrupt regime has led every news organization to look for their "moment" in toppling every Presidency since IMO. Sometimes they dig out the hidden really well (Lewinsky affair, Iran-Contra, Pat Tillman, et al) but with the plethora of news organizations out there now there seems to be "sides being taken." I'm with Clyde in this one. If you want news that points out the warts of liberal activities they are out there. If you want ones that only point out the downfalls of conservative activities they are out there as well. I almost feel that the best news is from outside the US. (i.e. BBC among others) Just my take.

(i.e. BBC among others) Just my take. I'm with you and Clizzy. I've also been checking out BBC more as well. Like the China visit with Trump it was better to go to BBC to see how it really went down. I'm not sure why people knowingly go to see what the "other side" is saying then get outraged. I know the Fox News agenda so I don't go to Fox News for my news and when I read something from CNN or the Washington Post or the New York Times I also understand the agenda. The formula is simple to follow IMO.
April 20, 20179 yr FOX News is the most watched news channel. Are they slobbering and dishonest? Are they part of msm? Just the main guys, evidently. Two down, hopefully no more to go.
April 20, 20179 yr Why is the left wing media only considered the mainstream media when it has been proven time and again that Fox News is the #1 news channel in the country and Breitbart put an editor in chief on the staff of the current president? The right wing media that didn't "slobber all over Obama" is every bit a huge player in media bias as the so called mainstream media.
April 20, 20179 yr What did people think would happen with Trump and the media? Honesty? I know, that's a bit much to ask.
April 20, 20179 yr Honesty? I know, that's a bit much to ask. Is Fox News not being honest enough for you?
April 20, 20179 yr I don't consider FOX, CNN and MSNBC news channels nor do I consider them mainstream media. I consider them opinion stations and I watch them to see opinions from both sides
April 20, 20179 yr Is Fox News not being honest enough for you? None of them are honest, all of them report with a slant. Fox tends to report positive stories for the right and negative for the left. I believe that Fox is more accurate in their reporting of actual facts, and it's spotty at best. CNN had become unwatchable for me, the last couple of months haven't seemed as bad. I consider all national news services part of the Main Stream Media. IMO not one of them makes the grade.
April 20, 20179 yr If you can't understand why the media was more favorable towards Obama, nobody can help you. :lol2: Worst POTUS since Carter. Liberal media helped make him seem not as bad. #Truth
April 20, 20179 yr We'll never have another POTUS like this one - regardless of what your feelings about him are. I bet we do, Trump has opened the door.
