I dont think we will be the first strike. If China doesnt get through to them, Japan will strike first.

 

If Japan does that then China will go bonkers. China does not want a militarily active Japan and they have most certainly not forgot the horrors visited upon the by Imperial Japan starting in 1937.

All of the rhetoric this week is simply a negotiation ploy. Trump throws out the least acceptable position possible to China prior to upcoming meeting, when he says "if China doesn't take care of NK, we will."

 

Then in negotiations with China he can back down some, allowing China to save face while getting them to agree on reigning in NK and letting them think it's their idea.

 

We'll see how it goes, but I think that's what is going on.

This song and dance has went on for over 60 years...no way US attacks them. For all of their bravado no way NK is dumb enough to attack us.

If he actually does that, it will be his last mistake.

If we can be patient and let North Korea have some more failed missile launches, Kim will kill off the rest of his remaining generals and be incapable of doing anything militarily. I am only being half facetious with this comment. I think the odds of a coup in North Korea are greater than the odds of a US military strike.

So under Bush we take out Saddam Hussein and under Òbama we take out Egypt, Libya leaders and cause a civil war in Syria.

 

But now we actually have a bad guy threating Amefica with Nukes, so I see no option but to send in the Seals and Tomahawk Missiles.

 

But we better have an option for leadership.

 

Shame on China for not protecting their own people. Let's say a nuclear bomb does blow up, it will affect that whole peninsula including China.
