March 28, 20179 yr When the patrons at Rick's Cafe start singing "La Marseillaise" and drown out the German officers. When the camera cuts to Madeleine LeBeau and she has tears rolling down her face as she belts it at the top of her lungs... I lose it every time. Instant goosebumps. [video=youtube;HM-E2H1ChJM]
March 28, 20179 yr Author Ending of Schindler's List. Oh, holy crap you're right. That "I could have done more" monologue absolutely slays me each time.

March 29, 20179 yr One of the first ones that comes to mind with me is the scene at Omaha Beach that begins Saving Private Ryan. For me it's the scene before that, when Ryan (as an old man) collapses at the grave site. And equally as powerful is the very end, when he tells Capt. Miller that he's never forgotten the words "earn this".
