I had almost the exact same experience at the very same age. My sister, who is sixteen months younger than me, balled also. It was a very emotional movie for an eleven year-old and, as I said before, still gets to me today.
April 17, 20179 yr Slow turn. "My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius..." I've seen this movie at least 20 times and I get chills every single time. Along those same lines, albeit more tongue-in-cheek: "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

April 21, 20179 yr Just finished watching (for the umpteenth time) the episode of MASH when Henry Blake is sent home. The ending still chokes me up. When they filmed that scene, the actors had been told the real ending only 30 minutes earlier. The grief they displayed as they filmed it was real.

Rudy - When he sacks the GT QB with time running out! Field of Dreams - When Dad and son " ease their pain " with a game of toss! Dead Poets Society - The Oh Captain My Captain scene... A River Runs Through It - " I am haunted by waters ! " I prolly have another 10 + but these were the 1st to come to mind!!!
