Science Friction
Gayle Sayers telling the Bears that Brian Piccolo has cancer in Brian's Song. This is audio only but it still got me. Good call. I've lost count of how many times I've seen that movie. Very emotional. Gets me every time.
All Tell
I very clearly remember seeing it the first time it aired. I was 11. I started crying so loudly my mother thought I had done something to hurt myself.
Science Friction
I very clearly remember seeing it the first time it aired. I was 11. I started crying so loudly my mother thought I had done something to hurt myself. I had almost the exact same experience at the very same age. My sister, who is sixteen months younger than me, balled also. It was a very emotional movie for an eleven year-old and, as I said before, still gets to me today. Jim Schue
Slow turn. "My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius..." I've seen this movie at least 20 times and I get chills every single time. Along those same lines, albeit more tongue-in-cheek: "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
frankdracman23
Was at a conference once where they had those "Hi, My Name is....." tags .........and a guy wrote on his "Inigo Montoya (You killed my father. Prepare to die)" Only about 10% of the attendees "got it".

Bluto
Just finished watching (for the umpteenth time) the episode of MASH when Henry Blake is sent home. The ending still chokes me up. When they filmed that scene, the actors had been told the real ending only 30 minutes earlier. The grief they displayed as they filmed it was real. Bluto
I am also always moved by Col. Potter's toast to his old comrades from WWI, when he was informed that he was the last survivor. "You were the friends of my youth. I loved you boys, one and all."
Colonels_Wear_Blue
I am also always moved by Col. Potter's toast to his old comrades from WWI, when he was informed that he was the last survivor. "You were the friends of my youth. I loved you boys, one and all." One of the more poignant moments from MASH, if you ask me.

Field of Dreams - When Dad and son " ease their pain " with a game of toss! Dead Poets Society - The Oh Captain My Captain scene... A River Runs Through It - " I am haunted by waters !
