Kentucky got 40 points off the bench tonight. The starters only scored 33

Misleading with Monk and Fox not starting.

If Kentucky and Florida both end up with a 15-3 SEC record why does Kentucky get the #1 seed in the SEC Tournament?

I don't even care about basketball. It just cracks me up how people thimk UK is so great.

Well when you think about it the Cats may not be where a lot of people on here think they should be but overall Kentucky basketball is pretty great. Here are some facts to back it up: #1 all time in the following: wins, NCAA tournament wins, tournament games played, NCAA appearances, as well as most sweet 16 and elit 8 appearances and 2nd all time in NCAA tiles Final 4 wins and appearances. Now some would say a lot of this was accumulated 50-60 years ago, but over the past 5 seasons Kentucky has the most wins of any school in the NCAA.

Nice job by Cal tonight. Full court pressure changed the rhythm of the game. Choice of extending Hawks minutes has made UK a better defensive team. He brings a toughness that Fox and Monk are lacking!

They won the next tiebreaker. I heard it today but can't remember what it was now.

:lol2:, :thumb: I didn't even bother, some things are just so easy to understand that they will fly right over their heads.

Two things.

Ky should have never been able to come back from that deficit.

Ky should have never put itself in that deficit.

Not sure myself went to the SEC web site it says for ties the first tiebreaker is head to head. Florida won by 22 the Cats won by 10.

Accurate...but they did and it was fun to watch them do it.

I don't believe when it says "head-to-head" that it also means score discrepency in those games.

Glad to see ya make an appearance, at least in an update thread.

I disagree. :lol2:

Can't hate on Briscoe tonight.

Yeah, he was pretty good. Huge rebound and stick back.

Definitely was a huge play. I believe he had 7 points, 7 boards, 6 assists, and 0 turnovers.

The tiebreaker after head-to-head is record against the next team in the standings. Florida's loss to South Carolina clinched it for Kentucky.
