February 24, 20179 yr We have had bunches of movie quote threads over the years, favorites and what not. Just wondering if folks have any that they use on a regular basis. For me: The Sandlot, Hamilton Porter- "You're killing me Smalls" True Grit, Lucky Ned Pepper - "They will do it." Shawshank, Red - "I've been known to _________ from time to time." Instead of "locate certain things" I stick my own thing in there drink a beer, go to the beach, etc. I use those 3 all the time.

"That'll do pig." - Babe "Oh no...we suck again!" - Waterboy "Hold on to your butts." - Jurassic Park Whenever someone asks "what's this" or "what is that", my response is ALWAYS "obviously you're not a golfer" from The Big Lebowski. When I get home in the evening and change out of my work duds, 4 out of 5 times I'll say "taking it off here, boss" in the middle of taking off my shirt whenever my wife is within earshot. That's Cool Hand Luke for those who don't recognize it. You can count on it that every single time I field dress a deer, at some point I'll say "I thought they smelled bad on the outside" from The Empire Strikes Back.

February 24, 20179 yr Oh...just thought of another one. Most every time someone mentions gophers, you can count on me to pull out my best Carl Spackler voice and say, "if I kill all the golfers, they're gonna lock me up and throw away the key". Depending on the situation, I'll occasionally get some strange looks for that one.

February 26, 20179 yr When being called a disparaging name or insult by someone I tend to calmly remind them "Opinions vary", from Road House. That one still catches people off guard.
