 I have to nominate this for BGP Classics. This is an all time classic.

Where do they get this stuff?

Actually the JV scouting report read something like this:

1) put helmet on

2) see the X

3) hit the X

4) you win

Too funny. :dancingpa

Probably from the same characters that spread looney info like "X had rings already made last year" or "X had shirts already made last year." There are always some way out fans out there, don't you think?:D

That information came from other X fans... I guess they are all on your side.

BGP annual fee: $15

Internet connection: $30

Reading St. X education, values, morals, junior excuses: Priceless

Hey dont lump all of us together.

If you and your other fans feel good about it that is all that matters. Win at all costs continues....

I like and appreciate the way we do it even if it causes us to only have 11.

I guess this would be a good time to point out that at last night's Trinity 1953 Society dinner, Dr. Mullen noted that back over the summer Trinity received a national award for being recognized over ALL other Catholic high schools in the USA (approximately 1,200) in that Trinity welcomes students of every possible learning ability. Dr. Mullen stated that Trinity accepts students that score a 99% on the entrance exam and are recognized as Monsignor Steinhauser scholars as well as accepting students who may be slower learners and score in the single digits on the entrance exam. They are all welcomed and worked with at Trinity to become the best student they can.

I "like and appreciate" that while they're sorting out the test scores they have to glance away from the "win at all costs" syndrome, which is very suspect to me in the first place. Care to elaborate, Tiger 2023?

Something tells me todays game is just going to seem like the X frosh are playing against juniors. :p

Of all of the things to be proud of at Trinity, this makes me most proud.

Just to update the fine Fox Sports commentators and those who know Ricky, but I don't consider a dislocated kneecap a minor injury.

Word on the street: His injury is A LOT worse than that. More like career ending.

Since we are talking about the JV game "I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter."

So who were some of the kids that stood out from Trinity during this game?

That information came from other X fans... I guess they are all on your side.

Trust me-they really aren't. Just look at the posts and it will be apparent to you, as it is to many of us. Wacky posters tend to see everything only from their perspective. They actually believe that only the other school has nutty fans. They feel that only the other school has nefarious motives and methods. Thus, the genesis of my "Copernicus" rule: The world revolves around my school.:D

I sort of like what this says. Let me see if I can put what you are saying another way. When we win it is because we put to much emphasis on winning. When you win it is because of, what, moral superiority? Give me a break.

X feels it is better to let kids play JV ball that don't get to play a significant role on varsity. Trinity would rather use it as "developement" for its Jr's first off the bench in varsity games.

I would rather us play with loaded guns against you but I appreciate Glaser's philosophy to let kids play that otherwise would have to wait a year or two.

Wow this JV thread is more heated than the varsity

I am starting to think that someone kidnapped the "All knowing male football Gods of BGP" because most of these people can't talk about the games at hand.

I have a 5 year old grandson. Being a Trinity Alumni, naturally from the beginning, I hoped he was a future ROCK. Early on, we could tell that something just wasn't right. When he was about 2 years old, after countless tests, we were told that he was autistic. Now I want him to be a ROCK even more. Trinity welcomes and has been honored for its acceptence of special needs kids and kids of all learning abilities. He will never play a down as a football ROCK but I will be just as proud of him to say he is a part of the Trinity family. Trinity Forever!!!
