Word on the street: His injury is A LOT worse than that. More like career ending.

I hope not it's not serious, and that it's not career ending. If it is career ending, then I hope he has a swift and full recovery.

Trust me-they really aren't. Just look at the posts and it will be apparent to you, as it is to many of us. Wacky posters tend to see everything only from their perspective. They actually believe that only the other school has nutty fans. They feel that only the other school has nefarious motives and methods. Thus, the genesis of my "Copernicus" rule: The world revolves around my school.:D

Uh, but, Copernicus' theory was correct.

X feels it is better to let kids play JV ball that don't get to play a significant role on varsity. Trinity would rather use it as "developement" for its Jr's first off the bench in varsity games.

I would rather us play with loaded guns against you but I appreciate Glaser's philosophy to let kids play that otherwise would have to wait a year or two.

Exactly why I made the point earlier in the discussion that I don't take much stock in JV games - different philosophies re. who plays and how much they play.

A much better barometer of where programs stand are freshman games and (obviously) varsity games.

I hope not it's not serious, and that it's not career ending. If it is career ending, then I hope he has a swift and full recovery.

Definetly "Season" ending. We'll see about career ending later ..... post surgery.

Keep your head up Ricky we're all pulling for you.

Let's close this thread, I believe there is no more (if there ever was) good that can come of it.
