February 21, 20179 yr Author Absolutely!!!! I thought you might be :lol2: I hope he get's it fixed...I think he will.
February 21, 20179 yr Can someone help me understand what needs to be fixed here? Seemed to me they are heading toward the right direction if not in it. I know draft picks are scarce, but really, how far off are they? Is this a reaction to whiffing on LaMarcus Aldridge? Greg Monroe? Phil Jackson? Is it because Swaggy P is still on the payroll? Should they be in tank mode right now?
February 22, 20179 yr Needed to be done, no question. Heck, me and PP could have done a better job. Magic is draining the swamp...:lol2:
February 22, 20179 yr I had no idea Pelinka was a major player in the agent game. I immediately thought of him as a Wolverine. What a career, 89 titlist with Robinson, Rice, Vaught and crew then as an upperclassman with the Fab Five. He's dropping quite a few large clients, I wonder how much more money he's making as a GM?

No clue what his contract is but I'm thinking he is getting some excellent coin. He has to give up representing Harden and others but I have to imagine that his knowledge of what today's players want will be a huge advantage for the Lakers.
February 22, 20179 yr I can't imagine he will be making much more money as GM. I'm betting he's clients will belong to the agency still and he probably will get paid from that as well. I'm not sure to be honest.

Should they be in tank mode right now? I would say they are quite far off still at the moment. Plus seems they have struggled at getting even free agents to go there recently. Having someone like Magic there running things I bet will help make the Lakers more attractive again to people. Which if they can get a big name to go with their young talent, they could turn it around sooner than later.
