If what Trump did is the same as what Obama did as you seem to be claiming, and you hated it when Obama did it, then you must hate it when Trump does it. What point are you (and all the others who make Obama comparisons like this) proving with these comparisons? Trying to prove nothing, just pointing out this is how things work. I don't have an issue with Obama saying what he said or Flynn talking to them. It's how things work at the highest levels.

Yep, I can see that angle. So making a comparison like that doesn't help either side, and yet people do it on here on a daily basis.

Everyone is more concerned with trying to point out hypocrisies to defend actions than having substantive debate. It is all political discussion has become.

It is all political discussion has become. Agreed. Neither side is able to see the other side's point of view. I don't think many of them even care to see the other side's point of view. They look for facts they can manipulate to make the point they want to believe in and promote. The branding of the media as liars helps with that. If the media is nothing but liars, there is no credible fact source so just choose which "facts" you want to believe.

Unelected bureaucrats within the intelligence community leaked the information that eventually led to Flynn's ouster. Does anyone have a problem the possibly illegalities that led to this? Should the people that leaked the information be sought out and prosecuted? Add this to the bureaucrats in the IRS acting to slow down conservative groups in 2012 and is anyone else scared that the federal bureaucracy has become so powerful that they are able to directly influence policy?

Maybe. But I'm more creeped out by the way Flynn acted and to know he was the National Security Advisor. :thumb:
