February 6, 20179 yr Yep, but it is what it is...it aint changing. No doubt, and that's where being a team like New England, who has been there and is used to it, has to be an advantage.
February 6, 20179 yr :lol2: You joke about it, but Pats fans have nightmares about that guy! He's the kryptonite to the B&B dominance. Oh, I know!
February 6, 20179 yr Anyone think the long halftime hurts a team like Atlanta who had all the momentum going into the break? Yes. Not to mention the Patriots possessed the ball the final 10:37 of the first half. I am not sure Matt Ryan broke a sweat in the first half.
February 6, 20179 yr How does Matt Ryan only target Julio 4 times? That's just criminal. I wasn't playing close enough attention, was he doubled a lot of the game?
February 6, 20179 yr No doubt, and that's where being a team like New England, who has been there and is used to it, has to be an advantage. Agreed, but if not for that sack taking them out of FG range...the Falcons still win. That Sack was the biggest play of the game...nothing else that the Patriots did matters, if not for that sack.
February 6, 20179 yr Another mishap by the Falcons, but when they got back the ball up 28-20, you would have thought they were running a two minute offense. They pick up 39 yards on the first play, and the next play they run with almost :20 on the play clock. Then, they do nearly the same thing the next play! What are you doing?
February 6, 20179 yr I wasn't playing close enough attention, was he doubled a lot of the game? The entire game. Matt Ryan would have won MVP had the Falcons won, but it should have been Julio. The guy would bring the entire defense with him. We praise Edelman's remarkable catch, but it was a lot more of a freaky, luck type of a play that could have been an INT... Julio's catch along the sidelines in the 4th was as top shelf as it gets.
February 6, 20179 yr Julio's catch along the sidelines in the 4th was as top shelf as it gets. Absolutely. The concentration it took to bring that ball in was unreal.
February 6, 20179 yr How does Matt Ryan only target Julio 4 times? That's just criminal. Agreed. However, with the Falcons only running 46 plays, they basically ran 10% of their plays for Julio Jones. And of course the Patriots were obviously going to cover Jones as best as they could, which leaves a few other receivers more open.
February 6, 20179 yr Not Jerry Tipton @NotJerryTipton 29s30 seconds agoMore Seahawks pass from the 1.Falcons blow 25 point lead. The Pats have seen more awful coaching than LSU basketball season ticket holders.
February 6, 20179 yr Agreed, but if not for that sack taking them out of FG range...the Falcons still win. That Sack was the biggest play of the game...nothing else that the Patriots did matters, if not for that sack. The sack didn't take them out of range...the holding penalty on the next play did. I believe after the sack it would have been like a 53 yd attempt.
February 6, 20179 yr The sack didn't take them out of range...the holding penalty on the next play did. I believe after the sack it would have been like a 53 yd attempt. True, it was those two plays...I forgot the hold. But even with the hold, if there was no sack, they'd have still been in range.
February 6, 20179 yr Had the Falcons run the ball 3 straight times, attempted a FG, and missed the FG the narrative this morning would be they should have thrown it to get the first down, you can't go conservative, yada yada yada. The fact is the losing team will get second guessed every single time, no matter what they do.
