I'm not sold that if drugs are legalized that users will be the only criminals left and even if they are that's a lot better than having folks murdering each other over land they don't own.

Inner cities became increasingly violent once crack cocaine came on the scene. What race suffered the most from this and what race benefitted the most? You and I know inner city black kids are not going to the burbs to charter schools with their vouchers which DJT's Education Secretary wants to do. They will carve the really good students off (or the good athletes) and leave inner city schools worse than they are. No way gang member from Covington is going get in Ft Thomas with voucher in hand, no way. If they let those guys and gals in then maybe we can turn it around. They also won't build section 8 housing in those burbs, nope. We will stick them on this cool hill with a view, and wad them all together again. Get them help but not in my school or neighborhood. Why do you think they throw stupid amounts of money to inner city housing and schools. To keep them out of their neighborhoods? Money doesn't fix their problems. Real opportunities with all kids will.

One would think by reading these threads that most these guys have first-hand knowledge of the Windy City's South Side.
